My background includes an ARCT diploma through the Royal Conservatory of Music, and an ATCL and LTCL from Trinity College of London. My accomplishments include winning first place in the Gordon C. Wallis Piano Competition (2016): Pedagody, and first place in the Florence Bowes Memorial Piano Competition (2017): Pedagody.
I’m an active member of the Saskatchewan Registered Music Teachers’ Association (SRMTA), and I’ve had the joy of teaching since 2013. In 2025, I began adjudicating at music festivals as well - an experience that has deepened my appreciation for the dedication and creativity of young musicians.
I welcome students of all ages and levels!
The lesson structure depends on the student and their goals. The class would include a strong emphasis on basic techniques, practical work by continuously learning new pieces, alongside with theory as we encounter new musical terms, symbols, and concepts. Theory, technique, sight reading and ear training increases as the student advances. Within these lessons, students will recognize that music is an opportunity to be expressive and creative, and they will be encouraged to explore their own individual strengths.
